This elegant pair of table lamps was produced in Germany during the 1970s and features beautifully handblown crystal bases shaped with a refined sculptural profile. The clarity and weight of the crystal give the lamps a luminous presence while maintaining a restrained architectural form.
The lamps have been fitted with newly made shades handcrafted in Rome using silver mica paper trimmed with dark grey woven cotton banding. The subtle texture of the mica paper softens the light while complementing the clarity of the crystal bases.
The combination of vintage crystal elements with contemporary handcrafted shades allows the lamps to bridge traditional and modern interiors with ease.
The crystal bases remain in very good vintage condition with only minor signs of age consistent with their period. The lampshades are newly made.
