MicroCristallo Fusione — Material Development
KalaRara Roma Atelier, Rome
MicroCristallo Fusione is a material process developed within the KalaRara Roma atelier through ongoing experimentation with glass, mineral aggregates, and metallic inclusions.
The work emerged from a search for a surface capable of holding light, depth, and irregularity — situated between painting and terrain.
Through successive iterations, the material evolved into layered structures in which fragments, powders, and metals are fused into a continuous field. The resulting surfaces shift with light and perspective, revealing different readings over time.
Each piece represents a distinct moment within this evolving language. No two compositions repeat, and each retains the traces of its making.
