About KalaRara Roma
KalaRara Roma is an independent design atelier based in Rome, creating original sculptural furniture, architectural artworks, mirrors, and a curated collection of vintage design selected according to the same principles that guide its own work.
Founded by designer and artist Vincent Copeland and antiquarian Anna Maria Coronato, the atelier brings together material research, design, and production within a single practice. Every work is conceived, developed, and produced in Rome as a unique piece, a very limited edition, or a bespoke commission.
Rather than following collections or seasonal trends, KalaRara Roma develops projects. Each work begins with an idea, takes shape through material, and is resolved only when composition, proportion, and presence are in balance.
The result is an atelier creating and curating works for collectors, architects, and interior designers, developed to become part of projects and collections intended to endure.
Material & Process
KalaRara Roma's original works are developed using MicroCristallo Fusione™, a proprietary material process. It combines hand-placed crystalline glass, a transparent crystalline matrix, and traditional craftsmanship into sculptural surfaces.
The process allows light, depth, and texture to become structural elements rather than decorative finishes. Every surface is composed entirely by hand, making each work materially unique.
Alongside its Original Designs, the atelier curates a Vintage Collection focused primarily on twentieth-century Italian design, complemented by a selection of works from other cultures chosen for their architectural presence, craftsmanship, and enduring relevance.
The Atelier
KalaRara Roma works internationally with private collectors, architects, interior designers, galleries, and design professionals on original commissions, bespoke projects, and curated acquisitions.
Production remains intentionally limited, allowing each project to receive direct authorial oversight from concept through completion.
The atelier's purpose is to create and curate works that become a natural part of architecture, interiors, and collections while maintaining their presence over time.
