Each commission begins through direct dialogue and is conceived, developed, and produced entirely in Rome. From material research to project development, every stage is carried out within the atelier, allowing ideas, proportions, materials, and architectural objectives to evolve together.
The intentionally limited scale of the studio allows every commission to receive the time required to develop materials, proportions, and solutions specific to the architecture and objectives of each project.

Every bespoke project follows a structured atelier process.
Initial Consultation
Definition of the project's objectives, architectural context, dimensions, and material direction.
Concept Development
Research, dialogue, and development through studies of proportion, composition, and presence.
Material Composition
Selection, development, and refinement of materials, finishes, and construction solutions specific to the project.
Artisan Fabrication
Production carried out entirely within the KalaRara Roma atelier in Rome.
Delivery & Installation Coordination
Coordination of logistics and installation in Italy and internationally.
Every stage of the process is guided by precision, continuity, and material integrity.
Material & Fabrication Philosophy
KalaRara Roma works through proprietary material processes, including MicroCristallo Fusione™, layered mineral compositions, and sculptural structural forms. Light, depth, texture, and material presence are treated as integral elements of each work. All fabrication takes place entirely in Rome, ensuring continuity between design, material research, development, and production within a single atelier.
