The tabletop artwork is created on canvas using a composite of silica, sand, natural pigments, and gold powder, inset with sections of weathered and distressed lead. The result is both painting and terrain — mineral, luminous, and atmospheric.
The artwork is framed within a rectangular grid of hand-forged iron, acid washed by hand to achieve a dark brown distressed patina that echoes the aged character of the lead. Minimalist U-shaped legs, similarly acid washed and patinated, support the structure with architectural clarity.
