“LES AMOURS DE BACCHUS ET D’AMÉTHYSTE” is a one-of-a-kind sculptural console designed and produced by KalaRara Roma. Inspired by the classical legend of Bacchus and Améthyste, the piece explores transformation and devotion through glass, crystal, and metal.
The structure is forged in steel and brushed by hand to a lustrous architectural finish, creating a restrained frame that allows the surfaces to command attention.
The console top and lower shelf are unique compositions realised in the proprietary MicroCristallo Fusione™ technique. Glass crystals sourced from Murano are layered in emerald green and amethyst hues, infused with clear crystal and white mica powder, and interwoven with delicate silver thread embroidery. The surface shifts with light, revealing mineral depth and chromatic movement.
Extra-clear tempered glass panels are inset to protect both the upper surface and lower shelf while preserving luminosity and dimensional clarity.
Entirely handcrafted in Rome, Italy, this console is both functional object and contemporary myth rendered in crystal and steel.
