One-of-a-Kind Wall Work
A meditation on balance, gravity, and quiet structural tension.
“Equilibrium II” is a one-of-a-kind wall work handcrafted in the KalaRara Roma atelier in Rome. The composition continues the exploration of balance and stability introduced in Equilibrium I, arranging a series of simplified forms in a carefully poised structure.
The surface is created entirely using MicroCristallo Fusione — a glass technique developed within the KalaRara Roma studio in which finely macerated Murano glass crystals are fused into a luminous field. These crystalline surfaces capture and refract light, producing subtle variations in texture and color as the viewer moves around the work.
The forms appear to rest upon one another like stacked stones or geological fragments balanced in quiet equilibrium. Their arrangement suggests a moment of stillness — a delicate point where mass, gravity, and placement coexist in harmony.
Entirely handmade in Rome, “Equilibrium II” functions as a sculptural wall work designed to introduce both visual rhythm and calm architectural presence into interior spaces. The work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity confirming its one-of-a-kind status and studio production.
