Light Passage

2026

MicroCristallo Fusione, gold leaf, jute on beechwood

130 × 90 × 5 cm

Linear passages of color traverse a dark crystalline field, connecting luminous nodes that emerge across the surface at varying intervals. Intersecting trajectories establish a layered network of movement, creating a composition that unfolds through color, reflection, and depth.

Built with thousands of fused glass crystals, the surface responds continuously to changing light conditions. Colors shift between opacity and transparency while areas of the composition alternately emerge and recede from view. The dark field captures and releases light throughout the day, revealing subtle variations in luminosity, color, and spatial depth.
